Vizcaya Engagement Red & Black, High School Sweethearts Tanisha and Astrel
Tanisha and Astrel met in the Summer of 2004, while in attendance at Miami Jackson Senior High School. The couple shared the same 5th period health class, and that is where it all began. It was not long into the school year before the two made a connection and began having daily conversation on the phone, Astrel also began walking Tanisha to all of her classes and to practice daily.
The couple went on their first date September 7th, 2004 which was also Tanisha‘s birthday. Between August and October, Tanisha and Astrel discovered they had so much in common and even discovered that they had met twice before. The couple both attended Allaphattah Middle School and Maya Angelou Elementary, they share the same number of siblings, and they both love the game of football.
With so many things in common, Tanisha and Astrel decided to define their relationship on October 1st, 2004. It was that day, they became boyfriend and girlfriend. With Tanisha and Astrel’s love story beginning as teenagers, they have been able to share many unforgettable moments with one another, from their high school proms, graduations, college graduations, and so much more.
In 2010, Tanisha and Astrel had their first child Taniyah F. Moise, they were both still in school, but with the support of one other as well as family and friends the two completed school successfully and moved back to Miami, FL.
Then there was the proposal… On Valentines Day of 2014, Astrel scheduled for roses to be sent to Tanisha‘s job and prepared a surprise trip to Aventura Mall. While at the mall, Tanisha continuously asked why they were there. Astrel led her into her favorite store and over to the jewelry counter were such beautiful engagement rings were displayed. He then turned to Tanisha and told her to choose a ring. Once the ring was chosen, Astrel got on one knee and popped the question. And of course she said yes!
Our Engagement Session Experience
OMG! Our engagement session with AJ was everything I anticipated and more. AJ was just amazing and his creativity sets him apart from other photographers. Because of AJ and the experience we had, we are have more to look forward to on our wedding day.
Shooting at Viscaya Museum and Gardens allowed Astrel and I to be ourselves. The beautiful scenery helped depict the romance and laughter we share daily. We has had the opportunity to shoot where it all began; Miami Jackson Sr. High. Miami Jackson, will always be near and dear to our hearts because it was that building that helped build and strengthen our love. The basketball scene was my favorite because Astrel is the reason I love basketball today. Over the years Astrel showed patience in teaching me the sport, we’ve even played one another in games of basketball just for fun. 11 years later and basketball has become one of my favorite sports next to football.
